Alejandra Díaz is the Enterprise Development Manager for the NESsT Venture Fund in Latin America. Her main responsibility is leading the social enterprise development process for NESsT at a regional level, working closely with country staff in providing training and technical assistance to selected organizations to develop high impact social enterprises.

She is also responsible for reviewing and systematizing NESsT's enterprise development methodology fo portfolio organizations in the region and supports the development of NESsT's funding strategy in Chile


Alejandra has experience in project implementation and coordination with diverse sectors (public, social and private), with emphasis on sustainable activities and the use of seed capital for community-based projects.


Before joining NESsT Alejandra was a project manager in the Tourism Department of the EuroChile Foundation, a nonprofit, private organization that promotes commercial and technological exchange between Chile and the European Union. Her work allowed her to travel and work on behalf of Chilean regional development based on tourism, from the northern desert region of Atacama to the southern region of Navarino Island, the gateway to Cape Horn. She also participated in various regional events in Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil on sustainable economic development based on the tourism industry.


Alejandra holds a degree in Geography from the Catholic University of Chile and a certificate in Public Policy from the same university. She has also completed courses in social sciences, international relations, marketing and project management.


A native of Chile, Alejandra works out of NESsT’s Santiago office.
