Despina Iancu
After completing an internship at NESsT, Despina is now an Enterprise Development Associate in the Timisoara office. She is currently supporting the development of NESsT activities, focusing on the NESsT Venture Fund portfolio and consulting projects in Romania. She has a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania and an ongoing Master Degree in Strategy, Organization and Leadership from Aarhus School of Business, Denmark.
In 2009, Despina has attended the European Summer School for Advanced Management (ESSAM) where she has worked on a consultancy project for a Danish company.
During her studies, Despina has also gained practical experience in both private and public sectors gained through internships and volunteering activities. The most recent is an internship in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she worked in the Public Diplomacy and Communications Department.
