Erwin is a Partner at Coller Capital and is responsible for origination, execution and monitoring of investments. Previously, he founded and ran the secondaries business of AlpInvest Partners (then NIB Capital Private Equity). During his eight years with AlpInvest, he also established a London office focused on mid-market buyouts and founded AlpInvest Mezzanine.
Before this, Erwin was Managing Director of Structured Finance at WestLB Europa and the bank's risk manager for Benelux. Prior to that, Edwin was a VP of Chase Manhattan Bank, where he held positions in structured finance and corporate credit. Erwin has been a non-executive director of numerous companies, and has sat on the advisory boards of Lexington Partners and Intermediate Capital Group.
Erwin has a Licentiate from the Rijksuniversitair Centrum, Antwerp, Belgium, and is currently on the advisory committees of Coller Iberica and Forbion Capital Partners. He is fluent in Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish, and is a Belgian national.
