Christina Kappaz joined Cimarron Capital Partners in 2009 to lead the firm’s
business development in Latin America. Cimarron is a private equity asset manager that provides investors with a full range of services from conducting due diligence on an outsourced basis, to managing independent client accounts and managing capital within a customized fund of funds vehicle. Christina has over ten years experience in venture capital, private equity, and small business development.

Christina was President of the Latin American Venture Capital Association (LAVCA) from 2002 to 2007.

As a Managing Partner at Millennia Consulting, her assignments included co-authoring an action plan for development of the venture capital industry in Mexico, advising the Mexican government on the structure of the Mexico Fund of Funds, and designing and evaluating initiatives aimed at building the venture capital and private equity industry. Christina started her career at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank.

She holds an MBA and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. Christina lives with her family near Bogotá,
Colombia.
