Georgeta Bora is the Corporate Responsibility Coordinator for RBS Bank Romania. Her role is to coordinate the implementation of the corporate responsibility strategy for the bank in Romania. This implies integrating sustainability in different areas of the bank: risk mitigation, product and business development, employee education and engagement, resource efficiency and community investment.
Georgeta has joined the bank in Romania in October 2007; before she has worked for ABN AMRO head-office in Amsterdam, in the Sustainability Group Public Affairs, being involved in sustainability related research, climate change initiatives, as well as communication and awareness on these topics.
Previously she has been involved in the non-governmental sector for six years, in the area of youth leadership development, being part of the management team of AIESEC in Romania and AIESEC International between 2003 and 2006.
Georgeta is a graduate of the West University in Timisoara, Faculty of Economics, with a specialisation in Finance and Banking; she has also finished a master in European Economics and Finance at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
