Gergely Kohut has spent over 15 years in the financial services industry. He started his career at INGBaringsin Budapest in 1995, and later joined the Corporate Finance team in London, where he advised on cross-border M&A transactions and assisted CEE companies in raising equity from capital markets.
In 2003, Mr. Kohut joined Concorde Corporate Finance, Hungary's leading independent M&A advisory firm, and advised leading multinationals on acquisitions in Hungary. Subsequently, Mr. Kohut founded his own e-commerce venture in Hungary, which he ran for several years.
Currently he is a Partner at iEurope Capital, a US private equity fund investing in growth companies in the region.
Mr. Kohut has a BA in Economics from The College of Finance and Accountancy in Budapest and he is a registered Corporate Finance Representative in the UK.Apart from his native Hungarian Mr. Kohut is fluent in English and Spanish.
