Katka Svickova is Program Associate in NESsT's Budapest office. A native of the Czech Republic, Katka is a PhD candidate in International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest, the same university where she received her M.A. in the same field. She holds master degrees in European Studies and European Economic Integration from the University of Economics and Charles University in Prague.
Katka has studied and performed internships in Budapest, Copenhagen, Brussels and Vienna, and she is fluent in three languages. During college, she interned with Junge Aktion der Ackermann-Gemeinde, an organization whose mission is to build and enhance close relationships between Czech and German young people, and most recently interned in Berlin in the office of a member of the Bundestag.
