Loïc Comolli is the Director of Client & Investor Relations for NESsT Consulting and oversees the development and implementation of NESsT Consulting and internal NESsT entrepreneurial activities. He provides training and consulting to nonprofit organizations, donors and international organizations on financial sustainability, social enterprise, business planning and related topics. Loïc also provides strategic advice and support to the NESsT Venture Fund team and portfolio. He received his MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and brings a great deal of experience to NESsT from both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Most recently Loïc served on the Venture Committee of Rubicon Programs' Board of Directors, where he assisted in overseeing the nonprofit's two social enterprises. He was responsible for regular evaluation of financial statements and the redesign of the organization's budgeting process to reconcile revenues and expenses. In addition to his work as a board member, Loïc has designed a framework for evaluating new products and evaluated six product lines for TransFair USA (a nonprofit organization that certifies and markets Fair Trade products in the U.S.), and developed business plans and corporate fundraising strategies for other nonprofits. Before working in the nonprofit sector, Loïc spent five years as a consultant, managing projects, conducting market analyses, and creating reports and strategic recommendations on key business decisions. Loïc, a native of France, has traveled extensively and spent 10 years working and studying in the U.S. He currently lives in El Cerrito, California.
