María Luisa Peña is the Enterprise Development Associate for the NESsT Venture Fund in Peru. She has a degree in Enterprise Management from Universidad del Pacífico in Peru and has graduate studies in Corporate Finance from Universidad ESAN. María Luisa has 8 years of professional experience in Enterprise Development. She has also taught an undergraduate course on Social Projection for the past four years at the Universidad del Pacífico. Through this upper division course, she led groups of students as they provided consulting in enterprise management to microentrepreneurs in marginal areas of Lima. She also has experience in the private sector and government, working in positions in the areas of Administration and Finance, where she was able to help achieve proposed goals. In the nonprofit sector, she has worked in Conservation International Peru in several areas, successfully publishing the enterprise experience gained from Productos Forestales Sostenibles S.A.C. as a case of Social Responsibility for Universidad del Pacífico.
