| Mariana Nicolletti is the Enterprise Development Manager for NESsT Brazil. She is responsible for the development of the NESsT Venture Fund in Brazil, providing capacity building and financial support to a portfolio of high-impact social enterprises.
Before joining NESsT, Mariana worked for three years at IBENS (Brazilian Institute of Education toSustainable Business), where she helped in the creation and implementation of the Practical Sustainability Program, involving partnership with enterprises from the second sector in order to develop sustainable business with groups from rural communities. She was also responsible for monitoring and evaluating methodology of all the projects. During the last year-and-a-half Mariana assumed the management of IBENS’s office in São Paulo.
She also worked in strategic management area of Telefônica and in marketing segmentation for Integration Consulting.Her experience in the nonprofit sector includes working for Telefônica’s Foundation and Meninos do Morumbi (an NGO focused on informal education with children in poverty situations). Other experience for Mariana includes key duties at Technological Cooperative Incubator of Getúlio Vargas Foundation where she worked with community groups to set up collective businesses.
Mariana holds a Business Administration degree by Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), and she is currently finishing her Master’s thesis in Social Psychology at the University of São Paulo (USP).
