Mohit Thukral Stanford University NESsTer (Budapest)
Mohit Thukral is the latest addition to the staff at our Budapest office. He has joined the team in the capacity of a NESsTER or NESsT entrepreneur-in -residence. His responsibilities include research of new funding opportunities, events and programs related to the social enterprise field. He is currently working on investment briefs for some members of NESsT’s European Portfolio. He is also expected to contribute to NESsT by preparing a report on Organizational Readiness of European portfolio members. Mohit originally hails from India where he has had entrepreneurial experience. He is a member of the class of 2013 at Stanford University. Mohit has previously worked in the social enterprise and micro-finance world. He was part of a team that won the Gumball challenge for raising money for Kiva microfinance at Stanford University. The team also submitted a plan for a social movement and enterprise in the Social-M challenge. He speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. And looks forward to cultivating his love for all things Hungarian by trying to learn the language. |
