Peter Varga
Enterprise Development Manager,
Galeforce Capital
Peter currently works as the Enterrise Development Manager for Galeforce Capital. In this position, Peter works on all aspects of the development and management of the project, developing the criteria, tools and methodology of Galeforce Capital, as well as managing the global LGBT social enterprise competition to be launched in March 2011.
With NESsT for over five years, Peter is a senior manager of NESsT’s Central and Eastern European portfolio of social enterprises. He also manages the first global venture philanthropy fund for nonprofit LGBT enterprises, NESsT’s Galeforce Capital. He has coached and provided direct consulting support to over 200 CSOs in a dozen countries in social enterprise development and implementation, organizational sustainability and strategic planning.
Peter joined NESsT following his graduation from the Central European University with an M.A. in International Relations and European Studies. He also holds a B.A. (honors, cum laude) in Political Science from Yale University. Having studied and lived for several years in Norway, England and the United States, he is currently based in Budapest.
