Santiago earned his BA in Economics from the School of Economics & Social Sciences at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). He has over 15 years of investment banking experience working in the United States and several Latin American countries. Before joining SFP he was Director with Credit Suisse First Boston for its Emerging Markets group where he was in charge of clients in the Southern Cone for three years. He previously worked with Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan – both in Buenos Aires and New York - for three and seven years respectively specializing in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and advisory.

He has led numerous financial transactions for government and private sector clients in the United States, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru and Argentina, raising billions of dollars for countries and companies in the region. Santiago was in charge of a great number of issuances of ADRs, public and private financing and has advised on numerous international M&A transactions. At SFP he has specialized in the acquisition and structuring of higher yielding financial assets.
