Tanweer Ali

Tanweer Ali is a lecturer in finance at the University of New York in Prague and at Empire State College, State University of New York. He has a background in finance that spans the insurance, investment banking and consulting businesses.
Tanweer has also been active in the non-profit sector. For some years he served as Chair of the Board of the Organization for Aid to Refugees, a Prague-based refugee assisting NGO, and he was a founding member - and current Chair of the Board - of Forum 50% an organisation dedicated to supporting the participation of women in public life in the Czech Republic. He was also the first president of the Czech CFA Society, and a member of the advisory board of Justice & Environment, an umbrella group of European environmental legal NGOs.
Tanweer Ali has been a BAN member since 2002.
