Carla Lobos is the Enterprise Development Associate for NESsT Venture Fund Chile.
She holds an engineering degree in Agribusiness Management from the Universidad Tecnologica Metropolitana of Chile (UTEM). Carla also has a post- degree in Strategic Management and Partnership Study from the University of Chile, in addition to a Diploma in Employment and Local Development from UTEM and from the University Jaume I of Spain.
Between 2008 and 2009 she completedher Master’s in Social Policy and Strategic Management for Territorial Sustainable Development at the University of Bologna, Italy. She did her internship at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Rome, completing a study on Development of Rural Territories.
She has over nine years of work experience, having worked with civil society organizations as well as small businesses and government. She has also provided consultancy services related to the environment and agribusiness.
She has worked in areas of management and finances, promotion of production and economic development planning. Her latest experience was in a Chilean government program called Chile Emprende, leading an economic development plan for the south of Santiago territory.
